Announcing the 12th Annual Survivor Crop!

crazycropperCrafty Peeps: We’re elated to announce the dates for the 12th Annual Survivor Crop, San Diego’s Top Third Party Affiliate Event for Komen for the Cure San Diego.

So mark your calendars, call your fellow crafters, start forming your team, and most importantly, LET THE FUNDRAISING BEGIN!

cropcabanaLast year’s event raised nearly $63,000 to help those in our community. That total was added to all the other events in and around San Diego for Komen for the cure, raising nearly $1.4 million to help fight breast cancer here in our county.

Registration begins on Saturday, May 4th…on National Scrapbook Day. Join us for a FREE Registration Kickoff Party at Ever After Scrapbooks from 12-3. Please RSVP for hors’ douerves, prizes and mixing/mingling. The wonderful gals at Komen will be there to get you registered and answer your questions.

11th Annual Survivor Crop is an EPIC Success!

Survivor Crop raised $62,725 for Breast Cancer Aid
11th Annual Event was an Epic Success 

We are still in awe of the amazing success of this year’s Survivor Crop, our brightest and most meaningful event of the year. Just over 100 participants, that we like to call “paper crafters with a purpose” raised nearly $63K for San Diego Komen for the Cure. KUDOS GO OUT TO ALL, especially the ULTIMATES:

The Crazy Croppers, headed up by Sandy Christy…raised over $18,000 with just eleven team members!!! This team set a record and we’re proud to call them The Ultimate Island. Antonella Clarke raised over $4,500 by herself, to become this year’s Ultimate Survivor. The creativity and fun displayed by all islands was admired by many. Kudos to The Wonderful Wizard of Bra’s and Fifty Shades of Pink and Project Pink for winning in the Island Décor category.
